You you know what I mean? Of course you do. You run with your small photo camera to the craziest parties in town, take pictures of drugged kids who do disgusting things with booze, stuff and orifices and the next morning, one half threatens you with a lawyer if you upload the stuff somewhere. And the other one deletes the pictures from the camera if you puke on the toilet.
The 2000s were an exciting time for young people in Poland. Following the end of the communist regime in the 1990s and accession to the European Union in the year 2004, the exciting country experienced a period of economic and social change.
Young people were able to open their minds to new opportunities and had access to a wider range of cultural influences. The influence of Western culture made itself felt and Polish youth enthusiastically participated in new music, art and fashion trends.
The growing popularity of social media and digital technologies allowed youth to become more connected and share their opinions and interests. Overall, youth in Poland in the 2000s were a dynamic and open-minded generation that actively shaped the changes of their time.
