Tower Keeper

We all got together in September for Kallilein’s birthday. The night was silly and rambling, the kind where you’re not sure how long things will last but you’re enjoying it anyway. The highlight was this tower we built - hundred-something pieces stacked up - which somehow became this thing everyone wanted to solve. I ended up as the tower keeper, whatever that means.

I’m driving to see my partner now. We’re going to cook lunch together and talk through what’s going on between us, the stuff we’re both dealing with.
