Locked In

I hate what The O.C. does to you. Every time an episode ends, you’re left with this melancholic feeling you don’t know what to do with, and then you’re stuck waiting a week to find out what happens next.

The blog dropped some coverage earlier for technical reasons. Won’t happen again. But here we are. Marissa and Ryan are slowly circling back toward each other. Alex keeps existing on the margins despite being more interesting than the show can figure out how to use. Everything’s basically the same as it was at the end of last season. I feel for her character, honestly. The whole season’s brought nothing new.

Next Wednesday is Fire. Ryan gets some hired thugs after him because Alex got jealous and took action. Then Charmed comes back too, which is somehow worse. But I’ll watch anyway. That’s what this show does to you.
