A Few Days

Friday was Ana’s birthday at some place in Turkheim called Americano. We all showed up with decent intentions, and then we left after two hours because it was boring. Got pretty drunk in that window, though, which I didn’t expect. The whole thing made me realize I haven’t spent time with most of these people in a while, and I wasn’t sure if I minded. Mille brought his girlfriend Anette, and she’s actually cool—funny and low-key in a way that made the night feel less like a chore. Even Becca liked her.

Saturday felt off. I can’t explain why. Stayed at Becca’s and felt better when I woke up, which is all that matters. Sunday I did nothing but sit in front of screens and teach Becca how to fish and mine in World of Warcraft. She was terrible at it, which somehow made it perfect.

School started again Monday. We painted posters in English class, which was fine. My business class featured Apple and iPod as examples, which was the only interesting part. I showed off a little for Katha in the hallway afterward, proved I could unhook a bra with one hand. It felt like a win at the time.
