Goodbye Giga Green
Giga’s shutting down today. The longest internet party the world ever had, and now it’s done. I found it back when the internet was still young enough that a German show about technology and pop culture could just exist—no filter, no calculation, speaking straight to the people who were actually paying attention. Most things don’t feel that way.
You don’t realize it while it’s happening. You catch an episode, you move on, it stays somewhere in your brain as a thing that exists. Then suddenly it’s gone and you understand what you had—a show that never talked down, never tried to sell you anything but what was actually interesting. That’s rarer than it should be.
I followed Giga. I’m going to miss it.
