Ines Is Back
Ines posted something new after two years of nothing. You notice when someone you’ve been reading disappears long enough that you’ve stopped expecting them to come back.
She had actual design skills, not the generic WordPress template stuff everyone was doing. Deliberate choices, clean work, the kind of thing that tells you someone’s thinking about form before they ever load a CMS. Her taste was specific too—Libertines, Power Rangers, the mix that seemed random until you understood the logic running underneath. She didn’t perform any of it online, just lived the stuff, took trains to gigs when the shows mattered to her.
Two years is forever in internet time. Most people who vanish stay vanished. You stop looking after a while because the absence becomes its own kind of presence—a blank where something used to be.
But sometimes someone like Ines comes back, and you realize you’ve been waiting for it even when you’d stopped actively waiting. That voice has a texture you don’t get from most places.
Don’t know what pulled her back online. Could be something small, could be something major. Either way, it’s good to hear from her.
