Finished The O.C., California just in time—all four seasons before The Simpsons came back. That scene with Ryan and Marissa gets me every time. I don’t know what it is. My eyes go wet and I can’t look away.

This show does something. I come back to it when I’m in those moods, when everything feels like it’s falling apart. The way I’m built, that’s fairly regular. So I’ll be back. The Fab Four will be waiting for the next time I need them.
