I didn’t know Manicure before this. No idea who they were or where they came from. The video credits are all Russian names, so I’m guessing Moscow area, but that’s just speculation. Another Girl
is straightforward post-punk in the British style—all lean and dark. What’s strange is how well it works despite the band barely speaking a word of English. I’ve already played it three times in a row and that’s no accident.
