Sneeze Mag
Everyone says print is dead, which is mostly true about the stuff that deserves to die—corporate newspapers filled with ads and garbage, local papers that don’t even pay their photographers. Good riddance. But at the edges, there are magazines that actually care, and Sneeze Mag is one of them.
It’s a Canadian skateboarding magazine, but that’s a thin description. It’s oversized, beautifully printed, and stuffed with photography that’s worth owning just to look at—skateboarding shots, half-naked girls, nice cars, fashion that doesn’t feel fake. The kind of thing you’d tape to your wall.
After Big Hands
came Read Her Lips,
featuring work from Tobin Yelland, JAMIL GS, and Keiichi Nitta. The printing is clean. Someone cared about every page. Word is the next issue dropped in fall for a couple bucks. My walls are pretty bare, so if you spot a copy lying around, grab an extra and I’ll take it off your hands.
