Watched Married to the Mob during the holidays. Michelle Pfeiffer trying to escape a mob family, and something about that desperation hits different when you’re stuck with your own. The film treats it all as light comedy—chaos, nobody listening, everybody scheming—but underneath there’s this panic about being trapped in a situation you can’t control. Basically what the holidays feel like.
