Diddy’s blogging now. I have no idea when this happened or why it mattered, but there it is—a blog where he posts about Muhammad Ali and surfing kids and whatever catches his attention. The design is rough. It looks like he put it together in an afternoon and moved on. Which I kind of respect.

It’s the move that makes sense once you’ve watched Kanye do it. Once one of them tries something, the rest feel like they have to as well. A billionaire hip-hop mogul with his own platform, posting whatever he’s thinking about. The beauty of it is how little he cares about the execution. He didn’t overthink it. He just did it.

Will anything come of it? Probably not. These things rarely last long. But it exists right now. You can subscribe. And there’s something oddly genuine about a guy rich enough to do absolutely anything deciding that blogging was worth trying. Even if it goes nowhere.
