Lykke Li: The Lost Sessions Vol. 1

I’ve burned out on most of the artists everyone went crazy for. James Blake doesn’t work for me anymore. Lana Del Rey can keep it. Tyler, the Creator, Casper—not my guy. But Lykke Li I keep coming back to, even when I’m supposed to be over it. There’s something in her voice, this rawness, the way she doesn’t hide anything, that just works.

The Lost Sessions is a free playlist of acoustic versions: Youth Knows No Pain, Jerome, I Follow Rivers. Songs I’ve already worn thin. Hearing them stripped back further doesn’t change anything. I was always going to return to this anyway.
