Let Them Come
Scroobius Pip made music for people who were thinking too much and not comfortable about it. With Dan le Sac the project felt inevitable, but his solo work since has been harder to pin down—less polished, stranger, more willing to fail. There’s something about refusing to play it safe that makes him worth following even when it doesn’t all land. Thou Shalt Always Kill is still the song that cuts deepest, the kind of thing that makes you feel like you’re not alone in your anger.
