Zombie hunters—the underdog with a weapon against the undead, taking the ridiculous dead seriously. There’s something about that premise that works even when everything else falls apart. No irony, no self-awareness, just the practical work of survival. I’ve always liked that energy in these stories, even the bad ones. Especially the bad ones.
