Daisy Lowe: Playboy Summer
Daisy Lowe had that look—sharp cheekbones, dark eyes, the kind of face that belonged in high fashion but somehow ended up in Playboy, which was already trying everything to stay relevant. There was something poignant about it, using a model from the real world to prop up a magazine that had become a ghost of itself. You could feel the end coming, but it looked good anyway. The whole thing felt like the last moment of that particular kind of glamour, calculated and beautiful and completely beside the point.
