Harajuku Kawaii TV
Fashion television from Harajuku feels like watching people refuse to compromise with adulthood. Every frame is color, every outfit an argument against restraint. What gets me is that it’s not ironic—these designers genuinely believe in putting twenty things together and making it feel necessary rather than excessive. You see it and you either get it or you don’t, and if you don’t, that’s sort of the point. It’s not aspiration made palatable. It’s just girls being girls, in the most maximalist way possible.
