Dree Hemingway didn’t go the expected route. She chose indie films and art projects over the obvious studio path, work that probably meant more to her than money. That’s the utopian part—not anything grand, just the belief that you can actually do what interests you and still have a life. Easier when you come from her background, probably. But the choice itself is still real.
