Cintia Dicker: Red Hair

I’ve been reading Cintia Dicker, and she has a particular attention to red-haired women. Not in a creepy way—it’s more that she describes them with this specificity, this real attention to how they are, that makes you believe she’s actually looking at them. Once you notice it, it’s everywhere. Not every character, but when there is red hair, something shifts. She makes it matter.
