It's a Research World
The international Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction, which I'm now part of, is the first of its kind in Germany and focuses on research into the design, implementation, appropriation, and evaluation of efficiently usable software systems. It's led by six renowned professors who have advanced the fields of design, sociology, and computer science. My orientation is now over. I've already settled into the city a bit and met some nice people. Next week, the first projects, lectures, and seminars begin.
