Fading Friendships
My decision to move away from Augsburg in two months has given me a kind of expiration date. Friends are now starting to invest their time in people who will still be around next year, rather than in someone who will soon be gone from their lives. Now I find myself wondering whether I should be sad, angry, and disappointed about this, or if this behavior is simply an honest consequence - one that I might well follow myself.
