Do You Even Encrypt?
One thing that bothered me about Fedora Asahi Remix was that it doesn't have native disk encryption like macOS does. That means if someone steals my MacBook, they'd also have access to all my files at the same time. That didn't sound very secure. To solve this problem, alongside the KDE Plasma Edition as the main operating system, I installed a minimalist version of the same Linux distribution as well. Building on David Alger's guide and the GitHub script based on it, I then encrypted both systems with each other using LUKS. Now no one can access my super-important data, even if they were to get their hands on my laptop. Brilliant.
