Endless Rain
One of my Japanese anthems from the 80s that's guaranteed to make me start crying the moment I hear it is X's Endless Rain from the album Blue Blood. Rolling Stone once called the song November Rain, minus the bullshit.
Yoshiki recently uploaded a live version of the ballad to YouTube, filmed at a concert at the Budokan in 1990. That's something I really regret: Never having been to the Budokan, even back when I still had the chance to. Well, now I have one more reason to burst into tears watching this video.
