Curious Publications for Curious People
Whenever I'm in Munich, I always try to make a detour to Soda. This chic little shop on Rumfordstraße stocks all sorts of inspiring books and magazines on design, art, and culture. Alongside classics like Kinfolk, 032c, and Little White Lies, you'll also find small treasures like Noma in Kyoto, Washoku, and Pleasant Place. Unfortunately, shops like this, much like Do You Read Me? in Berlin, aren't exactly cheap. I, for one, would have loved to take home every available issue of Nhudes, but being a poor student, I just leafed through them and then grabbed a cheap lunch at the nearest supermarket.
