After the Battle

I made it through my birthday and the party that came with it, and today I’m taking it easy at home. A lot of people came, and I genuinely enjoyed myself, despite a few minor hiccups—including the temporary disappearance of my favorite perfume, which was quickly resolved with a trip to the nearest supermarket.

Thank you to everyone who sent congratulations via email and SMS. I wasn’t able to respond to all of you, but your messages were much appreciated. Next time, I’ll make sure to capture more photos to remember the day.

For now, I’m grateful for the day off tomorrow, though motivation for school is entirely absent. It’s something that has to be done, regardless.
