The Large Flat Thing on the Wall
Made something today—a photo-glass collage, roughly one meter by seventy centimeters. I had to photograph it quickly before it decided to fall off the wall again. The scale of it surprised me a little even after finishing it.
The other piece is simpler: a frame I picked up in Munich, something printed from a magazine and dropped inside. No pretension involved, just a thing that looked right when I held it up. Sometimes that’s what it is—the cheap frame and the image that happened to fit, and the fact that the combination works on the wall in a way you didn’t fully plan. Both things are hanging now. That’s enough.
