Here, Kitty

Leopard drops October 26th. Six in the evening, officially. I’ve had the date circled in my head for months.

There was a stretch when reinstalling Windows XP every six months felt almost meditative—wipe it all clean, watch the progress bar, rebuild from nothing. It didn’t mean anything. That was just Microsoft’s deal with its users: entropy as a feature, maintenance as a hobby. Then I switched to Mac and the whole ritual just stopped. You install it once and it works. Leave it running for weeks, ignore it, shake it around—it doesn’t decay. That was new.

Leopard promises something genuinely different again: a redesign, new workflows, features I’ve been reading about long enough that I stopped letting myself get excited about them. Until now. I’m embarrassingly ready. Come here, little thing.
