Hannah at Twenty

She came in with a column about female multitasking—nineteen years old, sharp, and immediately found readers on this blog. Now Hannah Maria Paffen is studying fashion in Munich, doing photo shoots, and about to walk her first runway show.

She turns twenty today. I’ve read everything she’s written here, and watching someone move from a strong first column to all of that in the space of a year is genuinely something. Happy birthday, Hannah—I hope Munich is treating you well, and that you’re making it at least a little nervous.
