Two Megapixels in the Afternoon Sun

It’s properly, offensively hot outside. The kind of hot where the only reasonable response is to drag yourself to the gravel pit lake with your people, spread out on whatever patch of grass isn’t already taken, and do absolutely nothing of value for several hours. Which is exactly what I did.

The 2-megapixel phone camera got some use. I’m not going to pretend otherwise. The iPod was cranked to a volume that was probably medically inadvisable. If you’re one of those people whose summer playlist still runs on U2 and Akon, I made a playlist at some point to save you from yourself. Consider it an act of charity. The sun was merciless and the water was cold and none of it mattered at all.
