The Aluminum Prophecy

Apple made it official: new MacBooks on October 14th. The rumors had been running for weeks—aluminum unibody construction, machined from a single block of metal, the whole thing redesigned from the inside out. And still, seeing the confirmation in print made something fire in the lizard brain that knows better and doesn’t care.

This is the specific Apple trap I keep walking into. The hardware isn’t even out yet and I’m already constructing reasons why I need it. The aluminum alone. The new architecture.
