The Brief, Glorious Outage
Google went down. Just for a moment—long enough to notice, not long enough to mean anything lasting. But I felt like I’d won something. I once wrote a post about how to destroy Google, and then the universe quietly delivered. Probably a coincidence. Probably.
There’s something genuinely satisfying about watching the largest, most redundant, most over-engineered infrastructure on earth go briefly dark. Not because you want it gone, but because the reminder that nothing is permanent is a gift, even when it lasts forty seconds. What a triumph.
