That Song Will Follow You Everywhere

Say what you want about Disney—and The Simpsons has said most of it already, across what feels like entire seasons of systematic demolition—but I’ll still go to bat for the canon when something earns it. And whoever made this lip dub of The Little Mermaid absolutely earned it. Fully committed, not a trace of irony, riding the song like they know exactly what it’s built for. The iPod survives the whole thing unharmed, which honestly feels like the secondary miracle.

Then I clicked the other video. I came out the other side slightly changed. Not worse, exactly. Just rearranged. There’s no clean way to explain it to someone who hasn’t clicked the same link. Probably best to just stop here.
