The Robot That Keeps Running

A pixel-art robot, looping forever: it runs, monsters appear to block the path, it runs through them or past them, and then it just keeps going. No backstory, no destination, no explanation for any of it. Is the robot a hero? A villain? The animation doesn’t say, and somehow that’s the whole point—a little pixel figure doing the one thing it was built to do, against whatever happens to be in the way, indefinitely. There’s something almost zen about it. Or maybe I’m just reading too much into a GIF.
