That Voice, That Song

Right now there is nothing better than the sound of Caleb Followill singing. Nothing. The man opens his mouth and something happens to the air. Kings of Leon were playing Berlin that same night, and for everyone who couldn’t be there, "Use Somebody" had to serve as the next best thing. Which isn’t really consolation—the song is so good it exists independently of where they play it. You hear it once and it lodges somewhere you can’t locate precisely, somewhere between the chest and the throat.

I love this song. Not "enjoy," not "appreciate." Love. Full stop.
