Everything Should Glow Like That

M.I.A. had just given birth and immediately showed up at Coachella dressed in what appeared to be either glow-in-the-dark fabric or EL wire stitched directly into her outfit. Standing in the dark in Indio, California, lit up from head to toe. Of course she did.

The idea that this could become a club trend feels almost too good. Glowing trousers, glasses, shoes—your whole silhouette traced in light. It’d either look like the future or like a fever dream, and I’m fine with either outcome. Someone make this happen.
