Quicksand has been on repeat for longer than I’d care to admit. La Roux—Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid, out of London—had already done the damage in the UK before the track crossed to the US, with the debut album due in June. There’s a new video out for In For The Kill too, and it’s fine, but this one holds me harder. Gloriously trashy clip, a synthesizer that bypasses rational thought entirely.
