Black Bars Over Paris

Running naked through a major city seems to be a default setting for European music videos right now. Make the Girl Dance, a French electronic outfit, went full commitment: in Baby, Baby, Baby, a lineup of determinedly cool models jog through Paris wearing nothing except a few strategically placed black bars—which also happen to carry the song’s lyrics. So the censorship is doing double duty. Either that’s genuinely clever or it’s the most French thing I’ve seen all month, and I can’t decide if those are different things.

The Illuminati must be involved. There’s no other explanation for black bars that know exactly where to be at all times.
