The Aston Shuffle were an Australian electronic duo who made the kind of slick, tuneful dance music that aged well precisely because it never tried too hard to be of its moment. "Do You Want More," their track with Danimal Kingdom, is a perfect example—clean, propulsive, a hook that lands without announcing itself.

The video they made for it is something else. A group of strange, slightly greenish people work their way through a banquet of every disgusting-delicious thing imaginable. The camera lingers on the chewing, the overflow, the sweat. Each guest, one by one, gets escorted through a mysterious door. What waits on the other side is not what anyone’s appetite was hoping for.

There’s a specific kind of gross-out humor that works because it commits fully and doesn’t explain itself, and this video has it. Not trying to shock—more like a fairground attraction that simply keeps moving. The music and the images don’t obviously belong together, which is exactly why they work.
