Lykke Li built Little Bit around the worst possible admission: that you don’t quite love someone, you love them a little bit, and somehow that’s the version that won’t let go. The restraint is the whole devastation. A little bit, forever—the calculation doesn’t resolve, and she sings it anyway, in a voice that treats understatement like a weapon. I’ve watched this video more times than makes sense for a feeling that isn’t quite a feeling.
