Some Pulses Don’t Quit

Dirty Vegas will always be inseparable, in my memory, from a specific early-2000s longing—the slow-burn ache of Days Go By, that dreamy house pulse that somehow ended up selling cars and didn’t feel cheap doing it. Electric Love finds them in a more polished mode, edges smoothed down, but the undercurrent of melancholy is still there if you listen past the production. Some acts are defined entirely by one perfect moment. Dirty Vegas have spent years living inside theirs, refusing to let it be the whole story.
