Native Shoes built their whole identity around the anti-shoe—an injection-molded slab of EVA foam so light it practically argued against the concept of footwear. The winter boot extension should have read as a contradiction, and maybe it did, but there’s a specific kind of minimalist styling where function stops fighting aesthetics and they simply agree with each other. Someone was wearing these in the cold somewhere and making the case that the lightest possible thing can still hold its ground.
