Androp were a Tokyo four-piece who built their sound around an unlikely combination—indie rock rhythm section with a violin woven through the mix—and made it feel less like a gimmick and more like the only logical choice. "Mirror Dance" was an early marker of what they were going for: melodic, slightly atmospheric, the kind of track that rewards attention without demanding it. They were worth watching.
