Wu-Tang Clan ♥ Super Game Boy
The Wu-Tang Clan built their whole aesthetic around repurposing—old kung fu films, dusty soul samples, Staten Island mythology elevated into something mythic and slightly unhinged. The Super Game Boy did something structurally similar: took the four-channel tininess of portable cartridges and gave them color, gave them presence, bathed in whatever palette the developers had assigned. Both were about making constraints feel intentional. Both understood that limitations, worked correctly, become a style. Whoever made this particular piece of internet clearly got that.
