Nomi Forchhammer is the voice of Rangleklods, the Copenhagen duo responsible for some of the most quietly unsettling electro-pop of the early 2010s. There’s something in how she delivers a lyric—detached without being cold, like someone reporting an emotion from a careful distance—that lodges somewhere and stays. Girl at Home has that quality: intimate and slightly dislocated at once, the kind of track that sounds best late at night, alone, in a room with the lights low, which is possibly the entire point.
