Björk: Crystalline

Crystalline is austere but never cold. Björk’s voice carries all the warmth while the production stays precise and minimal, building gradually from almost nothing into something intricate. It’s from Biophilia, probably her most deliberately designed album, and the precision shows in every placement.

I keep coming back to it when I want something that feels both sparse and complete, stripped down but somehow full.
