The Ringtone Ads Finally Won

Grooveshark had a decent run until it became a hostile landscape of ringtone ads screaming between every track, widgets that crashed on load, and songs that refused to play without explanation. Two days into January and I was already done with it. Probably I was done with it in November, honestly, but here we are.

SoundCloud is where the music lives now. To kick things off: a collection of remixes, some recent and some that have been circulating long enough to feel like fixtures—bouncing tracks and floating ones, depending on which half of the year you’re trying to forget. Put it on. Do something else with your hands. That’s what it’s for.
