John Dwyer’s Wolf Hour

Thee Oh Sees released Lupine Dominus as a two-song EP on Castle Face Records—which, given John Dwyer’s output rate in 2012, was practically a pause for breath. The A-side runs about nine minutes and does what Dwyer does best: starts in the garage and ends somewhere much stranger, the guitars accumulating until they stop sounding like guitars. The kind of record that rewards headphones and a dark room.
