The Stars That Only Exist After Dark
Team Ghost’s "Dead Film Star" sounds like it was recorded in a building that no longer exists—some combination of synthesizer, reverb, and longing that sits between nostalgia and grief without quite naming either. The title does a lot of work: film stars are already ghosts by design, their images persisting after everything else has moved on, and the music leans into that quality. Luminous, distant, already fading as it plays.
