Three Downloads for a Long Flight

A gaming YouTube show called Almost Daily—part of Rocket Beans TV, a channel run by former hosts of a well-regarded German games television program—did an episode on anime. Budi, Ian, Tim, and Schröckert just talking about series they love, recommending things back and forth with genuine enthusiasm, and by the end of it I had a list and an itch to actually sit down with some new shows.

So I downloaded the first episodes of Sword Art Online, Girls und Panzer, and Space Brothers. Long-haul flights are the right time for this—no distractions, nowhere to be, the cabin dark enough that the screen actually looks good. I’ll report back once I’ve watched them.
