DENA, Still Playing

Berlin-based DENA makes electropop that sounds like it was recorded with most of the lights off. "Games" lands somewhere between a flirtation and a warning—cool, minimal, built around a beat that doesn’t try too hard. She had a way of making restraint sound like confidence, which is harder than it looks.
