"End of the Line" closes Reign of Terror the way a hangover ends a weekend—quietly, without apology, after everything louder has already done its damage. Sleigh Bells built their reputation on the assault: guitars that don’t suggest volume so much as insist on it, Alexis Krauss singing like she’s daring the noise to drown her out. This track pulls back from all of that. It doesn’t resolve anything. It just stops, and somehow that’s exactly the right move.
